The Ocoee River is my home during the summer months. This river is located in southern Tennessee. and has 10 miles of class 2-5 whitewater. It also has some of the best SUP surf waves in the region.
Stand Up Paddling is an amazing way to enjoy the river. With some practice you can surf for hours in the same spot. 
Surfing static river waves is a whole new challenge for surfers. The water moves under you, rather than you moving through the water. it is a surreal feeling.
